Evangelical leader Chuck Colson reiterates invitation to sign Manhattan Declaration

In his weekly YouTube message, evangelical Christian leader Chuck Colson called upon Christians to sign on to the Manhattan Declaration - a manifesto calling Christians to political action in the United States. Colson is the founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries.

According to an email circulated by Colson, his "Two Minute Warning" serves "to challenge some of the people who have refused to sign the Manhattan Declaration. And urging all faithful Evangelicals, Catholics and Orthodox to have the courage to sign on." It asks Christians to sign the declaration, "and to stand up for the sanctity of human life, for marriage between one man and one woman, and for religious freedom."
