Police in Pakistan say at least five people have been killed in an attack by suspected Islamist militants on an office of a Western aid agency in northwest Pakistan.

Police in Pakistan say at least five people have been killed in an attack by suspected Islamist militants on an office of a Western aid agency in northwest Pakistan.

Reports say the attackers opened fire and apparently detonated at least one explosive device at the office of the U.S.-founded World Vision agency in the Mansehra district of the Northwest Frontier Province.

All five of those killed are believed to have been agency employees.
