During the January 8 - 16 period in 2010, eleven Christian churches in Malaysia were attacked by Muslim extremists. Arson is a favored technique, along with bombings. Besides the churches, a Hindu temple and a mosque were also attacked during this period.
1. Metro Tabernacle Church, a Pentecostal Church of the Assembly of God, in Desa Melawati (Kuala Lumpur) molotov bomb exploded in the early morning hours of Friday, January 8
2. Assumption Catholic Church in Petaling Jaya (Kuala Lumpur): molotov bomb exploded at 4:30am on Friday, January 8.
3. Evangelical Brethren Church in Petaling Jaya (Kuala Lumpur): two molotov bombs exploded at 9am on Friday, January 8.
4. A Lutheran Church in Petaling Jaya (Kuala Lumpur) : bomb exploded on Saturday, January 9.
5. All Saints Anglican Church: bomb exploded on the morning of Sunday, January 10.
6. St. Louis Catholic Church in Taiping (State of Perak): bomb exploded on the morning of Sunday, January 10 and detinated bomb discovered in the convent on parish property
7. Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Miri (State of Sarawak, in Borneo): attacked by rock throwing on Sunday, January 10
8. A Baptist Church in the State of Malacca: walls painted with black paint on Sunday, January 10
9. Sidang Injil Borneo Evangelical Church (State of Negeri Sembilan): bomb exploded on Monday, January 11
10. Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Johor (State of Johor): external walls and statue of the Virgin Mary painted with red paint on Thursday, January 14
11. Grace Global Prayer Baptist Church in Seremban (State of Negeri Sembilan): rocks thrown against building and stained-glass windows broken on Saturday, January 16
